- What do I need to start?
- A Paytm for Business account you already use, and a few minutes. There is no gateway application and no business paperwork to begin — link your account, grab a test key and take your first payment today.
- Does ShubhGateway hold my money?
- No. ShubhGateway is UPI payment infrastructure software, not a bank. Live payments are collected into the Paytm for Business merchant account you link, and ShubhGateway tracks, confirms and reconciles them without holding your funds.
- When is a payment marked successful?
- Only after trusted server-side confirmation from the UPI network, with the amount and currency verified. Redirects, app callbacks, QR scans and customer screens are never treated as proof of payment.
- Can I test before going live?
- Yes. Test keys use a built-in sandbox where the amount picks the outcome — success, failure, pending, timeout, reversal and more. No real money moves.
- What happens if my server misses a webhook?
- Deliveries are retried for 24 hours with backoff, and you can inspect and re-send any delivery. You can also fetch the status at any time with the status API.
