Test mode and going live
Try everything in the sandbox, then switch to live payments.

Every workspace starts in Test mode: payments use a built-in sandbox and no real money moves. Switch between Test and Live with the toggle at the top of the Payments pages.
In test mode the amount (in ₹) picks the outcome, so you can try every case:

Any other amount succeeds after a few seconds.
To go live: complete your business profile and link your Paytm account in Payments → Business & UPI, then use your live API key (sk_live_…) or switch the dashboard to Live. Live payments land directly in your Paytm account.
